Contest Rules:

1. Instrument Setup: Contestants are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any necessary accessories (e.g., pedals, picks, strings). Amplifiers will be provided.
2. Song Choice: Contestants may perform an original song or a cover. However, all songs must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
3. Performance Time: Each performance must not exceed 5 minutes. Contestants will be penalized for exceeding this time limit.
4. Judging Criteria: Performances will be judged on the following:
   • Technique (25%): Mastery of the instrument.
   • Creativity (20%): Originality and musical innovation.
   • Stage Presence (15%): Confidence and audience engagement.
   • Musicality (20%): Emotional expression and dynamics.
   • Difficulty (10%): Complexity of the piece performed.
   • Tone & Sound Quality (10%): Clarity and richness of sound.
5. Judges’ Decision: All decisions made by the panel of judges are final.
6. Tiebreaker: In the event of a tie, the contestant with the highest “Technique” score will be declared the winner. If still tied, judges will discuss and make a final decision.
7. Prizes: The winner of each category will receive:
   • “Future Rock Godz Hall of Fame Inductee” Award
   • Additional prizes to be announced during the event.
8. Disqualification: Contestants will be disqualified for:
   • Failure to follow the contest rules.
   • Offensive or inappropriate behavior during the event.
   • Misrepresentation of identity or performance material.
