EVENT ENTRY & CONDUCT POLICY

This Event Entry & Conduct Policy applies to all attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, media, guests, performers, contractors, and other participants attending the Las Vegas Guitar Trade Show (“LVGTS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By entering or participating in the event, you agree to comply with this policy, all posted venue rules, all instructions from event staff and security, and all applicable laws.

1. Right to Refuse Entry or Remove Participants

LVGTS and venue management reserve the right to refuse admission to, deny access to, or remove any person at any time for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Disorderly, disruptive, threatening, or abusive behavior
  • Harassment of attendees, staff, exhibitors, or guests
  • Intoxication or impairment
  • Failure to comply with event rules, venue rules, or staff instructions
  • Unsafe, unlawful, or inappropriate conduct
  • Possession of prohibited items
  • Fraudulent, altered, duplicated, or unauthorized credentials or tickets
  • Conduct that interferes with the safety, experience, or operations of the event

Any person denied entry or removed for violation of this policy will not be entitled to a refund unless required by law.

2. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or abusive language or behavior
  • Fighting, violence, or threats of violence
  • Disrupting performances, clinics, exhibitor operations, or event programming
  • Interfering with walkways, exits, entry points, or safety procedures
  • Damaging event, venue, exhibitor, sponsor, or attendee property
  • Unauthorized solicitation, vending, leafleting, or promotional activity
  • Recording, streaming, photographing, or broadcasting in restricted areas where prohibited
  • Trespassing into staff-only, backstage, private, or restricted-access areas
  • Any unlawful activity

3. Prohibited Items

Unless expressly authorized in writing by LVGTS or required for approved exhibitor, artist, or operational purposes, prohibited items may include:

  • Firearms
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Explosives or flammable materials
  • Illegal substances
  • Items deemed dangerous by venue management or security
  • Drones or remote-operated devices
  • Laser pointers
  • Outside alcohol where prohibited by venue rules
  • Any item that may disrupt the event or create a safety risk

LVGTS and venue management reserve the right to determine, in their sole discretion, whether an item is prohibited.

4. Security Screening

All persons and property entering the event may be subject to inspection, screening, bag checks, wanding, or other security procedures as permitted by law and venue policy.

By entering the event, you consent to reasonable security screening measures. Refusal to comply may result in denied entry or removal without refund.

5. Tickets, Credentials, and Access

All attendees must present a valid ticket, badge, credential, wristband, or other approved form of admission to enter the event or access designated areas.

Tickets, badges, credentials, and wristbands:

  • Must be obtained through authorized channels
  • Must be valid for the applicable date and access level
  • May not be shared, duplicated, altered, or misused
  • May be revoked if used improperly or obtained fraudulently

Certain areas, programs, concerts, breakfasts, lounges, backstage spaces, or premium activations may require separate credentials or upgraded access.

6. Bag, Property, and Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for your own personal property at all times. LVGTS and venue management are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Unattended items may be removed, inspected, or discarded if deemed suspicious, unsafe, or disruptive.

7. Photography, Video, and Recording

LVGTS may photograph, film, livestream, or otherwise record portions of the event for operational, archival, editorial, promotional, advertising, security, or commercial purposes.

By entering the event, you grant LVGTS and its affiliates, licensees, partners, and representatives the right to capture and use your image, likeness, name, voice, and appearance in connection with event-related media and promotional materials without compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Attendees may take casual personal photos and videos unless otherwise restricted by posted rules, staff direction, artist requirements, exhibitor restrictions, or venue policy.

Professional photography, commercial filming, media coverage, livestreaming, or content capture for commercial use may require prior written approval.

8. Exhibitor, Sponsor, and Vendor Conduct

Exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, and promotional partners must operate within their assigned spaces and comply with all event rules, venue requirements, safety standards, and any separate written agreements.

LVGTS reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or remove any exhibitor, sponsor, vendor, display, activation, or promotional activity that:

  • Violates event policy
  • Creates congestion or safety concerns
  • Misrepresents products or services
  • Causes excessive disruption
  • Conflicts with venue restrictions
  • Is otherwise deemed inappropriate for the event

9. Artist, Guest, and Program Changes

Featured guests, performers, artists, schedules, clinics, demonstrations, concerts, and other programming are subject to change, delay, cancellation, substitution, or capacity limits without notice.

Admission to the event does not guarantee access to every guest, performer, clinic, concert, autograph opportunity, or limited-capacity activation.

10. Health, Safety, and Emergency Compliance

All participants must comply with applicable health, safety, emergency, and venue procedures, including evacuation instructions, restricted area enforcement, crowd management measures, and any emergency directives issued by staff, venue management, or public authorities.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event.

11. Minors

Minors attending the event must comply with all event and venue rules. LVGTS reserves the right to require minors to be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult for certain portions of the event or for entry generally, as determined by event policy or venue requirements.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors in their care.

12. Accessibility and Accommodation Requests

LVGTS will make reasonable efforts to support accessibility in accordance with applicable law and venue capabilities. Requests for accommodation should be made as far in advance as possible to allow reasonable planning and coordination.

13. Assumption of Risk

By attending the event, you voluntarily assume all risks incidental to attendance and participation, including risks related to crowds, noise, lighting, movement of equipment, interactions with other attendees, and other conditions commonly associated with live events, trade shows, and public gatherings.

14. Policy Violations

Violations of this policy may result in actions including, without limitation:

  • Warning
  • Denied entry
  • Removal from the event
  • Confiscation of prohibited items where permitted
  • Revocation of credentials or access
  • Disqualification from participation
  • Referral to venue security or law enforcement where appropriate

15. Changes to This Policy

LVGTS may update this Event Entry & Conduct Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date. Attendance or continued participation after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
