PROPERTY, GEAR, AND TRANSACTION DISCLAIMER

This Property, Gear, and Transaction Disclaimer applies to all attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, buyers, sellers, traders, consignors, media, guests, and other participants attending or participating in the Las Vegas Guitar Trade Show (“LVGTS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By attending or participating in the event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Personal Property Responsibility

Each attendee and participant is solely responsible for their own personal property, instruments, gear, merchandise, equipment, cases, bags, displays, inventory, cash, documents, and other belongings brought to or obtained at the event.

LVGTS, venue management, event staff, contractors, and affiliates are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, damaged, or unattended property.

2. No Bailment or Storage Obligation

LVGTS does not accept custody of, insure, store, secure, monitor, transport, or safeguard attendee or participant property unless expressly agreed in writing.

Nothing in attendance, participation, check-in, or staff interaction shall be interpreted as creating a bailment, storage agreement, insurance obligation, or duty of care over personal property.

3. Buyer/Seller/Trade Transactions Are Private Transactions

Any purchase, sale, trade, consignment, offer, negotiation, inspection, or agreement made between attendees, exhibitors, vendors, sponsors, or other participants is solely between those parties.

LVGTS is not a party to, broker of, guarantor of, or insurer of any such transaction.

LVGTS does not warrant or guarantee:

• Ownership
• Authenticity
• Originality
• Provenance
• Condition
• Value
• Merchantability
• Legality
• Safety
• Fitness for purpose
• Accuracy of descriptions or representations made by any participant

4. No Authentication or Appraisal Guarantee

Unless expressly stated in writing by LVGTS as part of a separate official service, LVGTS does not authenticate, appraise, certify, inspect, verify, or guarantee any instrument, amplifier, pedal, accessory, collectible, document, case, part, or related item displayed, sold, traded, or discussed at the event.

Any opinions or statements made by exhibitors, vendors, attendees, guests, or speakers are their own and are not endorsed or guaranteed by LVGTS.

5. Inspection and Due Diligence

All buyers, sellers, and traders are solely responsible for conducting their own inspection, research, due diligence, and verification before entering into any transaction.

Participants are encouraged to independently verify:

• Identity of the seller or trading party
• Ownership and authority to sell or trade
• Item condition and functionality
• Serial numbers and documentation
• Authenticity and originality
• Transaction terms and payment arrangements

6. Payment, Shipping, and Delivery Risk

LVGTS is not responsible for payment disputes, chargebacks, delivery failures, shipment damage, fraud, theft, misrepresentation, non-performance, or any other issue arising out of or related to transactions between participants.

Any arrangement involving shipping, delivery, pickup, transport, escrow, deposits, or future fulfillment is solely between the parties involved.

7. Risk of Damage or Loss

All property brought to, displayed at, handled at, or removed from the event is at the sole risk of the owner or possessor.

This includes risk of:

• Theft
• Breakage
• Cosmetic damage
• Environmental exposure
• Mishandling
• Accidental contact
• Transportation damage
• Loss during loading, unloading, setup, teardown, or movement through the event

Participants are encouraged to maintain their own insurance coverage for property, inventory, and business operations.

8. Instrument and Gear Handling

Participants should use caution when handling instruments, amplifiers, pedals, electronics, cases, stands, and other equipment.

LVGTS is not liable for injuries, losses, or property damage arising out of the testing, playing, handling, transport, display, setup, teardown, or operation of gear or equipment by attendees or participants.

9. Consignment, Deposits, and Future Transactions

Any consignment arrangement, deposit, layaway agreement, custom order, repair arrangement, future shipment, or post-event transaction is solely between the participating parties.

LVGTS is not responsible for enforcing those agreements or resolving disputes arising from them.

10. Disputes Between Participants

Any dispute arising out of a transaction or interaction between participants must be resolved directly between those parties.

LVGTS is under no obligation to mediate, investigate, reimburse, enforce, or resolve disputes relating to property ownership, payment, authenticity, delivery, condition, representations, or contractual performance.

11. Prohibited Sales or Items

LVGTS reserves the right to restrict, reject, remove, or report any item, display, conduct, or transaction that it believes, in its sole discretion:

• Violates law or venue rules
• Involves counterfeit, stolen, prohibited, or unsafe goods
• Creates legal, operational, reputational, or safety concerns
• Misrepresents products or participants
• Is otherwise inappropriate for the event

The exercise or non-exercise of this right does not create any duty by LVGTS to monitor, screen, verify, police, or approve transactions or merchandise.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LVGTS, venue management, event staff, contractors, affiliates, sponsors, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

• Property loss
• Theft
• Damage
• Fraud
• Misrepresentation
• Transaction disputes
• Counterfeit or unauthorized goods
• Non-delivery
• Non-payment
• Injury related to equipment or property handling

All risk associated with bringing, displaying, handling, transporting, buying, selling, or trading property at the event is assumed by the participant.

13. Acknowledgment

By attending or participating in LVGTS, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this Property, Gear, and Transaction Disclaimer and that all property and transaction activity is undertaken at your own risk.
